Tell us about EcoCamp
This place was lovely. So thrilled we had a superior dome. The food was great, loved the guide.
Tell us about the Trekking
I wish the three towers wasn't after three days of hiking and sleeping in camps for two nights. I was too tired to keep up with the rest of the group and opted to stay back at camp with three other people. Had it been a different day I would've for sure done it. Disappointed I missed it, but needed to for recovery.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Pack light, you have porters and understand the camps may not have food as good as eco camp.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes, stay off my phone!!!!!
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Again, just letting people know about the porters is the big one. It was wonderful and challenging and glad I was able to fulfill my husband's dream bucket list trip, but I don't need to go back personally. I would highly recommend to my outdoorsy friends.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
75% prepared and very nervous to see who would be in our group. I was intimidated not knowing the level of hikers in our group. I was one of the less "fast" hikers - the guides were great and everyone in the group was supportive/great but it was intimidating.
Would you consider another trip to Patagonia with Swoop?
