What was your most memorable moment?

This is a very difficult question to answer because they were all memorable in their own unique way. Having said this, the moment I saw the Towers when we first entered the park.

Tell us about EcoCamp

I was amazed at how eco friendly EcoCamp was. You can tell every aspect of the facility was incredibly well thought out to minimize the human impact on the surrounding areas.

Tell us about Torres del Paine

The photographs don't do the beauty of the hike justice. The area is simply awe inspiring.

Tell us about Chilean Lakes

The pure blue lakes showed off nature's true beauty.

Tell us about the Mountaineering

See below

Tell us about the Trekking

Diego kept a great pace and he ensured we remained together

Tell us about the Excursions

The penguin colony was amazing. My only negative comment is that I thought the boat was a little to big and it kind of swarmed the penguin colony. I would have been willing to pay additonal money for a smaller boat/excursion

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

Patagonia is overwhelming. There are so many options. I would encourage people to fly in and out of Puerto Natales instead of Punta Arenas. While there are more flights out of Punta Arenas, the convenience/location to Patagonia is definitely worth the limited flights.

Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?

The trip has reiterated my belief/appreciation in the frailness of mother earth. The places we visited were created over millions of years and it's important to ensure humanity does not destroy the places over the course of 100 or so years

Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?

N/A

How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?

I was well prepared and the seminars made me only more excited about the trip. I had very high expectations about the trip and my expectations were far surpassed.
