What was your most memorable moment?
Standing by the glittering turquoise lake Azul and torrent Salto Grande waterfalls, in the distance the snow-capped peaks - one of the most dramatically beautiful landscapes in the world. I have fallen in love with this wild and barren land of unique natural beauty: I stand facing this magnificent scene grateful for every breath I take. The rough and lonely countryside around the Nordenskiöld lake, free of any of the troubles of this world. To emerge yourself here is to forget anything unkind

Truly I must see if you are a traveller. Even in bad weather. Its really hard to leave. We even saw a Puma!

As it is so fabulous, it could be interesting to make more days available. Like, after completing the W trek, how about staying some more days for more hiking, fishing, biking...
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Bring waterproof gloves. As the wind is so strong, bring a headband instead of a hat and make sure your sunglasses are attached to a "string". You do cross streams where you actually have to put your foot in the water! There are a few books for exchange at the EcoCamp, so, no need to bring a book. It would be good to get more direction on tipping as this was a big discussion in our groupe

Was there anything else Swoop could have done for you to help you prepare for your trip?
I thought it was strange that my pick up hotel in Puerto Arenas was considered "not in the range of pick up" as it was close to the airport. I did not understand why I would have to pay something like $30 extra for pick up since the airport is also a pick up place.
