Tell us about EcoCamp

We loved Eco Camp. The food was the best we had on the trip! The Dome suite was unbelievable! I think perhaps because we were there more for the views, photography and the experience, and not so much to conquer the mountain in longer treks, the guides didn't know how to treat us exactly. They seemed to have a tendency to downplay the difficulty of a hike and say encouraging words like, "You can do it." I get that the majority of their younger guests need that sort of encouragement as they stretch their limits and tackle the big hikes. By day two, I just wanted to know the facts, not be told, "Easy peasy" to a hike that was not that. If they continue to attract older guests, 65 plus years old, perhaps a little orientation on telling it straight and not minimizing the excursion levels would be helpful. No harm done, as we figured it out, but for thinking of future retired guests who might have adventure in their hearts, but not in their knees!
