What was your most memorable moment?
There's not just one memorable moment. Every part of our journey had wonderful and unexpected experiences. I usually don't care much for big cities but I found Buenos Aires to be a beautiful and interesting city. The Lake District was as beautiful as I expected. Hiking around El Chalten was easy because most of the hikes start right there in town. The cruise around the Magellan Straight was relaxing after several days of intense activity with car rentals and several flights inside Argentina and lots of hiking; we were able to disembark in Cape Horn which was fabulous. Torres del Paine was the best part of the trip!

Tell us about Hotel Las Torres
Excellent, really liked it there. And it is so easy to go on hikes. Dinners were good at the bar, we didn't try the restaurant because we don't care for four course meals. But breakfast were mediocre.
Tell us about The Fjords
The best part of the cruise was visiting Cape Horn. We had spectacular weather that day. The fjords were beautiful and what I enjoyed the most was they took on excursions with walks or short hikes every day.
Tell us about Buenos Aires
Our hotel was very well located. Buenos Aires exceeded my expectations. I'd like to go back and visit places like Teatro Colon which was closed the day were there on a Monday. The Querendi show you arranged for us was fabulous. We took our own private city tour and walked the city for hours. Recoleta cemetery and El Ateneo book store are a must.
Tell us about the Kayaking
The kayak trip on Lake Machonico was gorgeous. We had the best possible weather. The guide was great, knowledgeable and very friendly (he was the owner of the company). Some of my best pictures are of that day.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Weather in Patagonia is so unpredictable and one has to be open to changes in the itinerary and not let that ruin your trip. We had some very bad weather in both El Chalten and in Torres del Paine, but I loved the trip and have wonderful memories! I would recommend this trip
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
I think I talked about it before. Mainly having too many agents, and improving the location of the hotel near the French Valley to avoid so much driving.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
I was SO prepared for this trip! I planned it for more than a year
