What was your most memorable moment?
We got a Chilean guide and got to know her, the ecosystem, and the people of Chile. The views and land of Patagonia are beautiful and breathtaking. My partner and I got to know each other better and were laughing every day. We woke up to gusting winds inside a tent.
Which of the following best describes your adventure?
Life changing
On a scale of 0 to 10, how likely is it that you would recommend Swoop to a friend or colleague?
10 out of 10
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
We have a greater appreciation for Mother Earth and all of her natural beauties. We really like the Chilean people (good-natured and nice).
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
The food at the Refugio were hot and delicious. The refugio were clean. We recommend bringing and using trekking poles, windbreaker and rain gears. It does get cold, bring a thick fleece jacket.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Sarah at Swoop was terrific. The COVID requirements are constantly changing. The Travel insurance list on Swoop website didn’t meet the Chile’s medical coverage requirement. I Google it. Getting through Santiago airport (to take rapid tests) took about 3 hours. Best to inform customers to ensure that there is a good window when booking a flight to Punta Arenas.
Was there anything else Swoop could have done for you to help you prepare for your trip?
