What was your most memorable moment?
It was a great trip even with all the Covid19 restrictions in place at that time. We found the Chilean people warm and friendly and the country vast and beautiful. Using Swoop Patagonia was the smartest thing we did preparing for the trip. They handled everything perfectly and the few hiccups along the way (self induced or covid related) were remedied smartly. Their on the ground agents in Chile were incredibly helpful and eager. We would not have had the same wonderful trip without the aid of Swoop. We just could not have planned and executed the same with our limited knowledge of Patagonia travel.

Tell us about Barraco Lodge
Beautiful, remote luxury lodge. Great staff as you would expect and charming, gracious hosts. We could have stayed there all summer. The lodging, the scenery, the staff, the food, the wine and the excursions were all perfect.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Be aware its doubtful you can put together a travel itinerary as well as Swoop. follow their advice.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I did not think a travel agent was necessary to plan an execute a trip to a foreign country. Especially since I travelled overseas extensively for work. I was wrong.
