Visiting the Pia Glacier, seeing Glacier Alley, excursion to Cape Horn, hikes and excursions. Cruise was well organized and personnel professional and friendly. We also very much enjoyed the 1 day adventurous Crossing of the Andes arranged by SWOOP. So many memorable moments!

Stunning nature, has to be experienced in real life!
Tell us about The Fjords
It is a true joy for all senses to cruise down the fjords and to be able to stop and take the zodiacs to shore for excursions. Knowledgeable guides add to these memorable experiences.
Tell us about Chilean Lakes
It was a full day of beautiful views from the boat tours across the many lakes. It should definitely be part of the trip for anyone planning a Patagonian adventure.
Tell us about the Wildlife
The guides were all very knowledgeable. The penguin population was very scant during our visit (beginning of the season). The overall natural beauty is unsurpassed and should be on any serious travelerโs bucket list ๐

My very best advice: Contact SWOOP and book your Patagonian adventure! ๐ They will do an outstanding job! ๐
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
One realizes the magnificent nature to be found in these places, and we hope to return to Chile and Argentina to explore more in the future.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Keep doing what you are doing! You get a 10 out of 10 points! As to the portion of crossing the Andes, I would suggest giving another (upgraded) hotel option in Puerto Varas. The Yuega Loca in Punta Arenas was a very delightful hotel, and Jarke Patagonia in Ushuaia was fine.
Was there anything else Swoop could have done for you to help you prepare for your trip?
There is a wealth of information on the SWOOP website, which was great and really helped us prepare for this trip.
