Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
I would advise to do Chilean and Argentinian Patagonia on separate trips, as travel between Argentina and Chile in that area is extremely time consuming! I also would not necessarily use Punta Arenas as a base - Puerto Natales is better for Torres del Paine. If in Southern Chilean Patagonia, I wouldn't spend more than 1 night in Punta Arenas (we spent 3 and would have preferred to have more time in Torres del Paine instead).
