What was your most memorable moment?
I don't have a particular memorable moment, but what I found unique was the vast wildness and emptiness of the Balmaceda to Puerto Vras portion of the trip. I also loved Conguillo National Park
Which of the following best describes your adventure?
Great holiday
On a scale of 0 to 10, how likely is it that you would recommend Swoop to a friend or colleague?

Tell us about Aysen
I wish we had taken time to visit Cerro Castillo. I loved our Home in Coyaqui and the area was beautiful. I thought the schedule of the boats over to Puyahuapi was very problematic and although the lodge was beautiful, the meals were mixed in quality and I might have preferred to stay on the mainland side. Aysen was remote and prestine, but there was a great similarity to many of the hikes and there weren't many choices. Having the guides from Ruta 7 really added to the experience.
Tell us about the Chilean Lakes
My favorite was Conguillo. I would highly recommend the guided hike over the shoulder of LLame Volcano. I would spend one less day in Huilo Huilo but recommend that people take the guided tour of the property as soon as possible after they arrive so they understand what the place is really all about.
Tell us about the road trip
The driving was pretty easy BUT I WOULD ASK PEOPLE IF THEY WANT TO RENT AN AUTOMATIC OR A STICK SHIFT. some people in our group were unused to the stick. All the maps etc were really well arranged.
Tell us about the trekking
The hiking is very pleasant in Aysen, but there is a bit of sameness to it. I did enjoy being out in the wilderness, though.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
A private guide is only a little bit extra in the overall cost and really makes things easier and takes all the decision making away. We enjoyed our Ruta 7 guides
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
I know Ruta 7 is a new company for you and I would highly recommend them. If they share ideas with you, I think you can totally trust them. They were great. The way Southbound put their portion of the itinerary together was also good. Beware Latham airlines and the Santiago Airport. Latham ramdomly changed our times again and again for now reason and with no notice. One time I was able to change back to our originally planned flight for a charge and there was no reason why I should have been changed off it in the first place. It was not full. On our trip down in Santiago we had 2 full hours to make our connection, all our flights were on time but because the customs lines were immense and they made us recheck in for the continuing flight instead of just putting our luggage on a conveyor built, we missed our flight and had to pay a fee to buy a new one. One of our friends waited in lines for 5 hours in Santiago. One of the things that we discourage me from flying here again is the airline problems.
