Overall, how was your trip?
Our trip was perfectly split into 3 segments: Australis cruise, Explora, and Barraco Lodge. Each allowed a completely different way to see and experience the beauty and wonder of Patagonia. We loved it!
In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?
Beautiful, wild, adventurous beyond our expectations, which were VERY high!

How was the service that Swoop provided?
We have wanted to visit Patagonia for 25+ years, but really had no knowledge of where or how to travel around the region. So uncharacteristic of us we looked for a travel agent specializing in Patagonia. We are so thankful for Swoop's expertise and pushing us to book the cruise, splurge on Explora, and their knowledge of the very remote Barraco Lodge! It was so relaxing to have all our transfers, travels, and lodging payed in advance. When one activity was cancelled due to high winds, Swoop was quick to help rearrange our schedule.

How was your experience in the Lake District?
Barraco Lodge is wonderful! The Heli-fishing added amazing views enroute to fishing in remote areas. Jaime is a expert and professional pilot with a love of this land and the people. The staff is amazing, hardworking, and friendly. We loved fishing for and catching large rainbow trout, and just as we were tiring the guide would say, "time for a break." We walked around the corner and found a fire cooked meal and table set up for us!!
How was your experience in Torres del Paine?
The view from our room is the cover advertisement for a National Geographic cruise to the area! Explora was a stretch for us financially, but I'm so glad we got to experience Torres del Paine from Explora. The staff, food, and lodge are wonderful. I wish we had been more prepared on which hikes we wanted to do, because there are so many options.
How was your Patagonian cruise?
We do not typically choose cruises, but we are so thankful that Swoop recommended seeing the Stait of Magallen via Stellar Austrailas! There isn't a better way to see the vastness of this remote, unpopulated area. The excursions were very good and gave us up close views and experiences of several different glaciers, Cape Horn, and Penguins!! The staff on the cruise was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Hire swoop to plan you trip is the best advice I can give!!! We would not have found these specific locations or been able to all the arrange seamless transfers without their expertise!
