Overall, how was your trip?

The entire trip was a highlight! Totally worth the effort getting down there. Between all the flights and bus rides, all of the hours of traveling seemed to disappear the minute we entered the park. The crazy blue waters, the amazing snow covered peaks, the freshness of the air, the excitement of all the other people heading in. We were lucky with the weather, had beautiful partly sunny, partly cloudy days, with only one snowy/rainy day, and of course the winds...must experience the Patagonian winds!! Overall the trip was AMAZING!!!

In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?

Beautiful, mesmerizing, challenging, but overall EPIC!!!

Would you visit again?

Yes

How was the service that Swoop provided?

Swoop was awesome. Speaking with Taylor, he helped us navigate what we needed, and the best way to do everything! Were we able to get the dates of the trip that we needed, and was grateful for all the other advice he provided.

How did you feel about booking directly with our partner(s)?

Chile Nativo was AMAZING!!!! The guides we had were perfect. Tim was not only knowledgeable about the park and Patagonia, but he also was fun and very captivating! We also had Karina, she was amazing in helping me navigate the food options! I am Vegan, and she went out of her way to get me everything I needed, and to let me know what was and wasn't vegan during our meals at the refugios. I can't express enough gratitude for both of these people. They helped make the trip unforgettable!!!

How was the Full Circuit in Torres del Paine?

The highlight of the trip were the days up to the Towers, going over the John Gardner Pass, (the only day we got snow/rain...of course,) and the last day up to the French Valley. Those were the most challenging physically, but epically beautiful! I loved the way the days were set up alternating between long, challenging treks and short, fairly easy treks, I was slightly concerned that it may be hard to hike 7 days in a row, but after day 4, my backpacking legs kicked in, and I was good to go! Also LOVED that on the backside of the trail, there were only a small handful of other people, it's like we had the park to ourselves! Our guides were AMAZING....I can't say enough about them. Between their knowledge, passion, and overall great attitudes and fun personalities, they were a wonderful addition the the already amazing trip!!!

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

DO IT!! It is worth all the effort getting down there! Bring layers and extra socks. You can charge your phone/camera in the refugios, but outlets are limited, so bring your charging brick, but don't over pack! Being a vegan, they totally accommodated me, which was awesome, because everywhere else in Patagonia was a bit more challenging because everything is very meat and cheese heavy. They provide PLENTY of food and snacks on the trip, so bringing extra from home is just extra weight you have to carry. Also bonus was, you can drink water right out of the streams which was fun, so just having a water bottle is plenty. This trip will not disappoint, between the landscape, the energy of it, and the guides made this an unforgettable trip! Thank you Swoop for providing an epic experience!!!

Anything else? Tell us anything you’d like to share that we forgot to ask! It’s ok to leave this empty too :-)

Thanks for everything!!!
