Overall, how was your trip?
Highlights includes the view from the base of The Towers, viewing icebergs from the ferry, the eco-domes and meeting new friends.
In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?
The landscapes were breathtaking, especially the glaciers.
Would you visit again?
Maybe
How did you feel about booking directly with our partner(s)?
WE ended up booking directly with Cascada since initially you were unable to obtain accommodation on our requested date. However your continued communication with us was impressive and greatly appreciated. We received little communication with Cascada. Would definitely recommend Swoop (and alreday have)!

How was your W trek in Torres del Paine?
Eco-camp was a wonderful place to come back to after a day of hiking-warn, private and cozy. However I was not completely prepared for the Refugio. Came back from a rainy, windy hike feeling "damp" and chilled with very limited clothes in my dry pack to change into and a "busy" and not private(no curtains) shower facility with no soap or shampoo. No where to "hang out" since the living room and bar area were packed with people. Food at Refugio was tolerable at best. Food at Ec0-camp was very good. Our guide Mariana was wonderful and Enrique proved to be very helpful guiding me down the rocky terrain. Would have liked to have more specifics on terrain- though it was do-able the gravel and rocky steeps were a challenge especially going down. We were happy to be able to do the glacial ferry but we were not aware ahead of time that if weather was considered unsafe by the captain it would be called off (which is not too unusual) in which case we would have "hang out" at the refugio for hours. Luckily this wasn't the case since the ferry views were great as was the drive back to the camp when we saw Puma, rhea......

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Don't underestimate the likelihood of experiencing all seasons. Rain proof jacket and pants are a must to have with every day! A buff is suggested and if you have rigid or semi-rigid contact lenses you need wrap around sunglasses or goggles!
