I did enjoy the trip, though I was surprised by the group I was with. From conversations before I booked I did expect to be the youngest but for the average group age to be 40-50. On my group the average was 60+. Luckily some members were up for the more physical treks so I didn’t think my time was impacted by that. I was, however, roomed with a woman who was 70+ and we did not make the best roommates due to our age difference. Not enjoyung the rooming situation did negatively impact my trip.

Loved Patagonia. Will definitely go back to see some other parts I missed.

When it was apparent that I would be roomed with a 70+ year old, it should have been communicated to both her and so we had the expectation and could have chosen to pay for the single supplement if we would have liked. I was happy with the physical aspects of the trip - it’s the reason I chose it. But I don’t think that was correctly communicated to everyone (i.e. the lady I roomed with probably should have done a trip more specific to an older ages with less physical activity).

I did not realize that swoop would partner with journey Latin America that is specifically geared towards tourists from the UK. As swoop is a UK company I did expect a number of UK tourists, just thought the group would, be more diverse in backgrounds.
