Overall, how was your trip?
The trip was incredible! We really lucked out on the weather. On our first day, the Towers were gorgeous and getting to visit the Britanico Valley was spectacular, despite being long, somewhat difficult days of hiking. The picturesque views on day two could not be beat, especially as coming into Los Cuernos. We really loved the experience with our group, both the other people and our guide, Mauricio.
In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?
Visiting Patagonia felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I want to repeat again and again.
Would you visit again?
Maybe
How was the service that Swoop provided?
Swoop was quite helpful and was exactly the level of support we were looking for. We didn't want to do everything ourselves, but weren't looking for a luxury (costly!) experience. I would recommend Swoop to others!
How did you feel about booking directly with our partner(s)?
Yes, Chile Nativo was a great company. We were slightly confused when we saw their location was closed and we were directed to next door when we got to Puerto Natales early and were wondering whether to bring our gear to the briefing or not. I really appreciated the support in booking bus tickets and discussion about options, while considering weather and common issues in Patagonia. I also really cannot speak highly enough of our guide, Mauricio.
How likely is it that you would recommend Swoop to a friend?
9 out of 10
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Make sure that you bring a light day pack! We didn't have one and we dragged behind our group on the two days when we had the opportunity to leave our backpacks behind for all or part of the day.
Anything else? Tell us anything you’d like to share that we forgot to ask! It’s ok to leave this empty too :-)
I've already passed your name along to a friend of a friend who's looking to visit Patagonia.
