Overall, how was your trip?
Trip was excellent - loved the people, the landscapes, the clean air and water!, and the remote aspect of Patagonia. We would spend more time in Santiago - do a winery tour for a day. The highlight was Torres del Paine, the W Trek and the Eco Camp.

How was the service that Swoop provided?
Swoop did a great job for us - the right itinerary, the recommended sights, great pre-trip service and we used the detailed travel itinerary all the time. Two recommendations from us - leave 2 hours for Santiago airport - it is very busy (or was when we were there) - and we would not recommend Casasur in Palermo - nice hotel but not near any sights or shopping (although enjoyed the restos in the areas).

How was your experience in Buenos Aires?
We enjoyed seeing the old parts and the architecture of BA. The transport from the airport and guide were great - she gave us lots of info on route to the hotel.The hotel is very nice but we didn't love the location - far from any sights, shopping - good restos in the area but for a short stay in BA with an international flight home - it's far from everything.
How was your experience in El Calafate and El Chalten?
Everything was wonderful including the little Madre Tierra Patagonia hotel. The day trip to Perito Moreno was quite spectacular.
How was your experience in Santiago and the surrounding area?
We would go back but have another day or two for out of the city excursions. Not picked up by airport transport but the hotel staff were so helpful - really liked the hotel! They had allowed under 2 hours at the airport which in our opinion is not enough (even on a Sunday morning at 6am!!)
How was your experience in Torres del Paine?
Everything about this part was magical!
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Stay at the Eco Camp in Torres del Paine - so grateful that Swoop recommended it!
