Overall, how was your trip?
Highlights were the continuous views of the mountains, glaciers and lakes. Kayaking at Glacier Grey was our magical moment of the trip. We had a great group and our guides were fantastic. Very knowledgeable and engaging.
In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?
Spectacular, amazing place, one of our top locations to trek in the world!
Would you visit again?
Yes
How was the service that Swoop provided?
Swoop did an awesome job putting our trip together. Your partners in Chile and Argentina were great. We never had an issue with travel during the entire trip, everything occurred seamlessly. The Final Travel Itinerary was perfect, it's your guide book and we relied on it.
How likely is it that you would recommend Swoop to a friend?
10 out of 10
How was your experience in El Calafate and El Chalten?
Loved this area of Argentina. Spending time hiking around Fitzroy was the highlight. Camping at the base was perfect to observe the mountains during the day, at dusk and again at sunrise. It's a magical place. Our guide was awesome and pushed us hard to hike a few extra miles to reach the best views. I would highly recommend our guide! All of our transport worked perfect. Both El Calafate and El Chalten were fun to spend time in. Great shopping and food, showers too!
How was your experience in Santiago and the surrounding area?
Santiago is a big city, but Swoop did a great job putting us up in the right part of town. Spent a day and half walking the area, city markets, and climbing the hills. We also spent a half day in the wine country, which was extra special. Hotel was perfect and had an awesome rooftop bar/restaurant. Pickup at the airport with a driver and English speaking guide was a great way to start our trip. She gave us the layout of the land and expedited our check in process.
How was your hike in Torres del Paine?
We love Torres del Paine! The hiking was spectacular. The continuous views are amazing. The whole time you are hiking, the views are incredible and every changing. Our guide was great and thru out the hike, gave us the history, the geology, the wildlife, and the plant descriptions of the area. The refugios were really nice compared to others we have seen. Our highlight for this part of out trip was kayaking with the icebergs at Glacier Grey.
