Overall, how was your trip?
Exceptional. Highlight was our stay at EcoCamp; between the brilliant guides (all our guides were young exceptional women which made it extra special), the people we met there, the hikes/activities, the overall experience was top notch. The FANTASTIC guides; Marcela, Angie, Francesca, Claire and our server Ingrid are women I will talk about and remember for a long long time. I find it incredible and inspiring that young people in their 20s are so dedicated to this type of work. They work long hours and consistently had a smile on their face and each had so much knowledge to share. In another life, I want to be them!
In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?
LOVED it!! Exceeded expectations.

How was the service that Swoop provided?
I think Swoop did a very nice job in putting together this exceptional trip. The suggestions I have is to articulate the travel time components a bit more; for instance, we had a full day of travel from Santiago to get to Eco Camp; then we had another full day of travel to get from EcoCamp to Calafate and then to Chalten.
How did you feel about booking directly with our partner(s)?
Yes, I believe they did. Again here, the only "hotel" we did not care for was the one in Chalten; the room was much too small for us. I think giving us options on where to stay would have been nice; we probably would have upgraded if that was possible.
How likely is it that you would recommend Swoop to a friend?

How was your experience in El Chalten?
Our El Chalten highlight was the hike to Cerros Torres. It was a beautiful day and the two of us had our guide to ourselves. Our guide, Rosio, was also excellent; nearly as good as those at EcoCamp. We did not care for our accommodation...the room was too small for us. Again, might have been good to provide options for those nights.

How was your experience in Torres del Paine?
Excellent; see above. LOVED EcoCamp, the guides, the people we met, the planning involved in making it all happen seamlessly, the camp itself and of course the excursions.
