Overall, how was your trip?

Having been there, met others, spoken to lots of people on the ground, the itinerary that Swoop pulled together looks perfect. We were v lucky with the temperamental weather - which helped a lot - and the local partners were excellent. Best parts were the more arduous days and the rewards of the views gained.

In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?

Outstanding

Would you visit again?

Maybe

How was the service that Swoop provided?

Per above, great pre-trip advice and itinerary. Would use Swoop again. No drop-offs or gaps in local service delivery

How did you feel about booking directly with our partner(s)?

Yes, right local partners.

How was your experience in El Chalten?

SERAC good local partner and guide (Martin) excellent Good idea to have slightly strenuous first day out and back so anyone who did not want to continue could back out Highlight was final day ridge climb - not one of the usual routes from El Chalten, but known by the guide - advantage of local knowledge

How likely is it that you would recommend this trip to a friend? (where 0 = Not at all likely, 5 = Neutral, 10 = Extremely Likely)

How was the Full Circuit in Torres del Paine?

Great timing to do this full route just as spring arrives. Highlights include John Gartner pass in blizzard and chance to swim in Lake Dickson with the ice. Only downside was tent camps too busy for amenities - Los Perros had one toilet and 91 campers.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

Travel light. Throw away all the stuff you don't really need - you'll enjoy the landscape, people and living simply all the more. Bring lots of USD for Argentina. Hardly any cashpoints work (none in El Chalten).
