Olivia Reynolds 's Trip:

7-Day Torres del Paine Circuit

Olivia Reynolds 's Trip Date:

Overall, how was your trip?

Gorgeous landscape, fantastic guides, great food (which I certainly wasn't expecting).

In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?

Stunning scenery.

Would you visit again?

Maybe

How was the service that Swoop provided?

N/A - I was only every interested in the one trip. Booking was relatively efficient. The only improvement I would suggest is making the availability numbers more accessible - there was a lot of to and fro to understand which dates were/were not available.

How did you feel about booking directly with our partner(s)?

Chile Nativo was fantastic.

How was the Full Circuit in Torres del Paine?

Food exceeded expectations. Guides were excellent. Camp conditions better than expected.

How likely is it that you would recommend this trip to a friend? (where 0 = Not at all likely, 5 = Neutral, 10 = Extremely Likely)

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

The full circuit is not an easy hike. I.e. it's not a long walk. It is entirely possible I did not read available information in advance as I tend to skip over fitness requirements but I think important that potential visitors understand that not only fitness but a certain fortitude is required for this trip. High winds, skree, scrambling, fording rivers - all with your pack - can be tiring even for those who are fit.

Anything else? Tell us anything you’d like to share that we forgot to ask! It’s ok to leave this empty too :-)

A significant advantage of Chile Nativo's service is the low group numbers. We saw other organised groups on the trail that had 16+ members which has a big impact on trip dynamics and pace.
