Overall, how was your trip?
The highlight of our trip was our guide, Jose "Chacho" Navarro Jorquera, a contractor to Antares Patagonia--he surpassed our expectations in every way--he facilitated our entrance into Torres del Paine, he made sure we were comfortable, gave us an overview of what to expect on our hikes each day, went out of his way to find new birds for us to watch, and was friendly and polite to everyone on the trail. The surprise, if you can call it that, was that we had several days of absolutely jaw-droppingly good, clear weather with fabulous views of the mountains, including the Torres and Los Cuernos.
In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?
The trip (and Patagonia!) was fabulous; totally exceeded my expectations.
Would you visit again?
Yes
How was the service that Swoop provided?
Yes, I am pleased with the advice from Swoop and would not hesitate to call them again for a future trip. Natascha was a great help, she listened to what type of trip we wanted to take and found the best "match" with a local partner.
How did you feel about booking directly with our partner(s)?
Natascha at Swoop and Fernando Mansilla at Antares Patagonia made a great team! The "handoff" between them was seamless and both made finalization of trip details and the booking quite easy. Fernando went above and beyond--answering several of my questions about buses and onward travel. I totally appreciated Fernando's and Natascha's prompt responses to my several emailed questions.
How likely is it that you would recommend Swoop to a friend?
10 out of 10
Anything else? Tell us anything you’d like to share that we forgot to ask! It’s ok to leave this empty too :-)
The only reason I checked "no" for considering visiting Antarctica with SWOOP is that I have already been and would be unlikely to go back--too many other great places on this earth to visit!
