We thought people would be interested to hear about her challenge that lies ahead, her environmental goals and the opportunity to recognise an inspirational woman in their lives.
Arakur is a new hotel up on Cerro Cortez, above Ushuaia. I stayed here after my trip to Antarctic and welcomed a bit of luxury after 10 days on a small expedition vessel. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the centre of town and several hundred meters higher up the mountain.
